Modern Forms Smart Fan comes with a traditional remote control, in addition to a Bluetooth enabled remote control that can be used up to 100ft away and paired with an unlimited number of Modern Forms Smart Fans. The optional Bluetooth Hardwired Wall Control can be purchased separately. The remote control functions include turning the fan and light on and off, adjusting the fan speed, changing the light brightness, and toggling between fan modes.
All Modern Forms Smart Fans can be controlled using an iPhone or Android device, with no additional hardware or purchases necessary. The app, available for free download from the iPhone App Store or Google Play Stores, offers all the features of the remote control, as well as the ability to set schedules, adaptive learning, and fan grouping. Smart home integration is also available with Alexa, Google Home, Samsung SmartThings, Ecobee, and more.
The optional high-powered energy-efficient LED Luminaire features an etched opal glass case with 1,600 lumens, 3000K color temperature, 90 CRI, and a 50,000-hour lifespan. The fan itself is designed for both indoor and outdoor use and features a 6-speed energy-efficient DC motor that is up to 70% more efficient than AC fans. It also includes winter and summer modes to properly ventilate and maintain temperature in the room.
The average electricity cost is estimated to be 24W at 54in with airflow of 4653 CFM. The fan also includes optional accessories such as a downrod, coupler, and additional remote control.
