Product Description Modern Forms Smart Fan Traditional Control
This Modern Forms Smart Fan comes with a Bluetooth enabled remote control that includes a magnetic wall cradle and can be paired with an unlimited amount of Modern Forms Smart Fans. The remote control operates from up to 100ft away. For those who prefer a hardwired wall control, there is an optional Bluetooth Hardwired Wall Control available for purchase. The functions of the remote control include turning the fan on/off, adjusting the fan speed (with 6-speed options), turning the light on/off, adjusting the light dimness, and toggling between fan modes for winter and summer.
Advanced Control
All Modern Forms Smart Fans can be controlled through most iPhone or Android devices without the need for additional hardware or purchases. The app is available for download for free through the iPhone App Store or Google Play Stores. The app functions offer all of the basic remote control features as well as the ability to schedule operation 365 days a year, adaptive learning, fan grouping, and advanced smart home integration.
Smart Control
Modern Forms Smart Fans can be controlled with popular smart home tech such as Alexa, Google Home, Samsung SmartThings, and Ecobee. Smart Home Integration is easy to set up by downloading the Modern Forms App on iOS or Android devices and following the integration steps. Smart Home Integration includes Alexa, Google Home Assistant, Samsung SmartThings, Ecobee Thermostat, Control 4, Josh AI, and will soon include Savant, Lutron Homeworks, and Nest through app updates.
High-Powered Energy Efficient LED Luminaire (Optional)
The Modern Forms Smart Fan offers an optional LED luminaire with a durable etched opal glass case. It provides 1,600 lumens, a 3000K color temperature, 90 CRI for Title 24 Energy Efficiency, and a 50,000-hour lifespan. It is wet location listed for both indoor and outdoor use.
6-Speed Energy Efficient Quiet DC Motor
The fan is powered by a quiet, reliable, and efficient DC motor that operates at up to 70% efficiency compared to AC fans.
Winter & Summer Modes
The fan has two modes to adjust the blade direction for optimal cooling or heating. It can reduce room temperature by as much as 10 degrees in Summer Mode and move warm air through the room in Winter Mode.
