Users can control all Modern Forms Smart Fans by using most iPhone or Android devices. No additional purchases are required, and the app is available for free through the iPhone App Store or Google Play Stores. Additional functions include scheduling, adaptive learning, and the ability to group fans together.
The fan can be integrated with smart home technology including Alexa, Google Home, Samsung SmartThings, and Ecobee. Integration is done by downloading the Modern Forms App and following the provided steps. There are also plans for integration with other smart home systems in the near future.
The fan comes with a high powered energy efficient LED luminaire that offers 1600 lumens, a color temperature of 3000K, and a 90 CRI. It is energy efficient, durable, and rated for indoor or outdoor use. The fan operates with a 6-speed energy efficient quiet DC motor that is reliable and up to 70% more efficient than traditional AC fans.
In addition, the Smart Fan has both Winter and Summer modes which allow for the circulation of cool air in the Summer and warm air in the Winter. The fan also uses energy efficiently, with an estimated annual energy cost based on hours of use per day and electricity rate.
