Product Description
This Modern Forms Smart Fan comes with a Bluetooth enabled remote control that has a magnetic wall cradle. It can be paired with an unlimited number of Modern Forms Smart Fans within range, and can operate from up to 100ft away. Additionally, there is an optional Bluetooth Hardwired Wall Control (Part # F-WCBT-WT) that can be purchased separately.
The remote control features include turning the fan on and off, adjusting the fan speed (6-speeds) with audible beep confirmation of speed change, turning the light on and off, dimming the light, and toggling between fan modes (Winter/Summer).
Furthermore, Modern Forms Smart Fans can be controlled using most iPhone or Android devices. No additional hardware or purchases are necessary, other than your iPhone or Android device. The app is available for download free through the iPhone App Store or Google Play Stores.
The app includes all the remote control features, as well as the added features of scheduling for every day of the year, adaptive learning, and fan grouping.
Additionally, Modern Forms Smart Fans can be controlled with popular smart home tech such as Alexa, Google Home, Samsung SmartThings, and Ecobee. Integration is made easy by simply downloading the Modern Forms App on your iOS or Android device and following the integration steps.
The Smart Home Integration includes Alexa, Google Home Assistant, Samsung SmartThings, Ecobee Thermostat, Control 4, and Josh AI. Upcoming app updates will also include integration with Savant, Lutron Homeworks, and Nest.
The fan comes with a high powered energy-efficient LED luminaire that has a 1,600 Lumens output, 3000K Color Temperature, and a 90 CRI. It is wet location listed for both indoor and outdoor use. The fan also features a 6-speed energy-efficient quiet DC motor that is up to 70% more efficient than traditional AC fans.
The fan can be used to adjust room temperature in both Summer and Winter Modes. In Summer Mode, the blades spin counter-clockwise to move cool air through the room, while in Winter Mode, the blades reverse to move warm air through the room.
The fan has an energy guide with a weighted average of electricity usage, airflow, energy costs, and efficiency. It is also compatible with accessories such as Ceiling Fan Extension Downrod, Ceiling Fan Downrod Coupler, Ceiling Fan 30-45 Degree Slope Ceiling Adapter, Ceiling Fan Additional Remote Control with Wall Cradle, and Ceiling Fan Hardwired Wall Control.
