Description of Products: The Modern Forms Smart Fan comes with a Bluetooth enabled remote control that has a magnetic wall cradle and can be paired with multiple Modern Forms Smart Fans within a range of up to 100ft. An optional Bluetooth Hardwired Wall Control can be purchased separately (Part # F-WCBT-WT). The remote control functions include on/off and speed controls for the fan, light control, and fan mode toggle modes. The additional features include 7/365-day scheduling, adaptive learning, fan grouping, and advanced smart home integration.
All Modern Forms Smart Fans can be controlled using most iPhone or Android devices without any additional hardware or purchases. The app can be downloaded for free from the iPhone App Store or Google Play Stores. The app enables all the basic remote control functions, along with a few additional features like smart home integration and voice control through Alexa, Google Home, Samsung SmartThings, and Ecobee. The app will soon support additional devices through app updates like Savant, Lutron Homeworks, and Nest.
The Smart Fan is equipped with a high-powered energy-efficient LED luminaire that produces 1,600 lumens with a 3000k color temperature, 90 CRI, and is wet location listed for indoor or outdoor use. It also includes a 6-speed energy-efficient quiet DC motor that uses up to 70% less energy compared to AC fans.
The Smart Fan also offers winter and summer modes, where the blades reverse direction based on the mode selected to either cool or warm the room as per the requirement. The energy guide information is provided based on the weighted average statistics.
