The Modern Forms Smart Fan offers traditional control features as well as advanced smart home integration. The Bluetooth-enabled remote control with magnetic wall cradle allows for easy operation from up to 100ft away and can be paired with an unlimited number of Modern Forms Smart Fans. Optional Bluetooth hardwired wall control can also be purchased separately.
In addition to basic fan control functions, the remote control has the ability to toggle between fan modes for both summer and winter use, and control the lighting, including dimming capabilities. The advanced features are compatible with most iPhone or Android devices through the Modern Forms app, which can be downloaded for free through the iPhone App Store or Google Play Stores. This app allows for 7/365 day scheduling, adaptive learning, and fan grouping for increased customization.
The Smart Fans are also compatible with popular smart home technologies such as Alexa, Google Home, Samsung SmartThings, and Ecobee. Integration is simple and can be done by downloading the Modern Forms app on any iOS or Android device and following the integration steps. Additional smart home devices that are soon to be compatible include Savant, Lutron Homeworks, and Nest.
The Smart Fan is equipped with a high-powered energy-efficient LED luminaire capable of producing 1,100 lumens, a 3000K color temperature, and a 90 CRI rating. It is also rated for a long lifespan of 50,000 hours and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The fan operates on a quiet, energy-efficient DC motor, which is up to 70% more efficient than traditional AC fans.
The fan has the ability to switch between winter and summer modes, with the blades spinning in opposite directions to either push cool air through the room or circulate warm air, promoting energy efficiency. Additionally, the fan is available in both downrod and flush mount models and can be paired with various accessories for added convenience.
